Instruction Partners is a non-profit organization that partners with schools to strengthen daily instruction in ELA and Math. We help school and district teams understand the answers to two questions: 1) Are we teaching the right content? and 2) Are students learning it? We then work with the team to develop a game plan, leveraging curriculum improvements and teacher and leader professional development and coaching. Through this shoulder-to-shoulder support, Instruction Partners empowers leaders to build their capacity to support instruction and help students learn more. Instruction Partners supports both Tier 1 instruction and students behind grade level. The schools that have worked with Instruction Partners have seen notable gains in daily instruction and student growth.

We partner with schools and systems to improve instruction. First, we observe through classroom walkthroughs and student work analysis. Then, we meet with leaders to identify an action plan. With the plan in place, we work shoulder to shoulder with teachers and leaders to support them as they enact the plan. Through professional development (which can be curriculum specific), standards-specific feedback, and coaching teachers and leaders, we empower schools and systems to build a culture of instructional excellence. This process repeats each year of partnership to address different challenges and engage more schools and educators. Instruction Partners seeks deep content experts to work with schools and has extensive internal professional development to ensure staff are poised to provide the most impactful support to partners.
