Science & Engineering Education Development (SEED)

Science & Engineering Education Development (SEED) specializes in partnering with elementary schools to provide STEM PD that meets the NGSS rigor, is innovative, and meets each school's specific needs. SEED actively models hands-on, student-led
STEM lessons in front of live student classes and meets with teachers afterwards to discuss scientific content and pedagogy and how to best modify the lesson for each particular classroom. When working with schools, SEED provides all of the materials necessary to repeat a lesson, including worksheets, slides, a lesson plan, and background information. SEED also delivers kits of materials to the schools such that any lesson SEED models can be easily repeated by teachers! SEED is run by two PhD neuroscientists with a passion for science and with years of experience working exclusively with elementary-aged students.
