Teachers21 is a not-for-profit organization providing professional development services to hundreds of school districts through a network of over 90 experienced practitioners including current and former school and district leaders. Teachers21 impacts student achievement by providing professional development, consulting, team facilitation and coaching with a consistent, cohesive and sustained approach. A focus of this work is shaping climate and culture. Our range of experience with educators and leaders in both small and large districts in urban, suburban, and rural settings provides Teachers21 consultants with a deep understanding of the constraints and challenges facing practitioners. Our goal is to ensure that teaching and learning is aligned, rigorous and personalized with the capacity to meet the needs of diverse learners
Teachers21 has deep commitment to Leadership Development: We train current and future leaders by providing Certificate; Licensure; Institute and Degree programs. Our Leadership Institutes convene in summer and follow with year-long training and roundtables for superintendents, novice & seasoned principals, assistant principals, curriculum & department heads, teacher leaders and instructional coaches. Teachers21 and Massachusetts Secondary School Administrators Association developed the Leadership Licensure Program and MEd for aspiring principals; and in partnership with Boston College and Massachusetts Association for School Superintendents, the Professional School Administrator Program/Leadership Licensure Program EdD program for aspiring superintendents/assistant superintendents.
